Stylist

 

 

I was 19 and attending college with aspirations of one day becoming a nurse, when I suddenly realized as I was getting my hair done that I didn’t want to be a nurse.  I wanted to be a hair stylist and not just any stylist; I wanted to be well educated and highly trained stylist.  So off I went with new aspirations, onto a journey that would forever change my life.

After graduating from the Gene Juarez Academy I was blessed with the opportunity to further my education with a 9 month externship at Brassfield’s Salon where I trained under Salon Professional, Michael McCune.  Over the last 10 years my professional education has continued with trips to New York where I took Advanced Training at the Redken Exchange and countless classes with Professional Hairdresser and Master Educator Sam Villa.  After 10 years at Brassfiled’s, I decided in June of 2014 that it was time to continue my journey somewhere else and I decided to join the brilliant team here at Baroque Salon.

Joining Baroque was an opportunity for me to provide a more intimate service to my wonderful clients.  It was also an opportunity for me to improve the overall service and experience by being the one that greets you when you walk in and the one that checks you out when you leave.  This has been a wonderful journey and I look forward to continuing it with all of you.  I love each and everyone one of my clients and can’t wait to see you in my chair again!
